Due to the severe weather warning by Met Eireann the Ballinrobe Duathlon this Sunday February 9th has been unfortunately been postponed till Sunday March 1st.
Met Éireann is forecasting very stormy conditions this weekend with a yellow extreme weather warning for high winds and heavy rain issued. Storm Ciara is set to hit Ireland this weekend making it impossible to hold a safe Duathlon for all participants, due to the high winds and rain forecast for Sunday morning. We are very disappointed to have to make this call but it’s the right thing to do in these circumstances, we hope you can all rejoin us on March 1st for a great day out.
