All roads lead to Galway for round 8

Ballina duo maintain their lead in the Bridge Signs Ireland West Duathlon series after their hosting their own event in the Beautiful town of Enniscrone. Both Ray Mc Namara  and Declan Donnellan have competed and completed all 7 events to date. So far only 18  of the 700 participants have done  all 7 events, who will be in the  top  10 after round 9 in Cong at the Ashford Duathlon… Only 2 rounds left.

Derek Joyce Galway Bay will hope to narrow the gap by bringing his total to 7 events and in line with the leaders. From here on in every result could mean a huge jump up the overall as its the best 7 results out pf 9 for the Series honors.

Hollymount Wheelers Lydna Hession is now the Overall leader of the Ladies section, Lydna and Carol King Westport have both completed 7 events…
