Participant’s Event  Information

READ CAREFULLY.

On Line entries will close on Thursday June 4th at 6pm
Manual entries will be available at Marrey bikes, Watson’s lane Ballinrobe all week till Friday 4th of June at 5pm.

Day entries
Depending on numbers registered we may take entries on the day at the event venue from 1.30pm

Sign On
Everyone must attend sign on (look out for marquee) and fill out the necessary waiver forms.

For those of you who already entered on line, you have signed the waiver but you  must present yourself so we can tick you off our list for  role call, remember you also have to collect your event Tec shirt.

Location of RFR event
Is at event Cloonagashel, 5km from Ballinrobe and 17k from Claremorris, we will have signs directing you to the venue.

Car Parking
Is at the event location, obey the traffic marshals so we can fit as many cars in as possible, ideally car pool as the area will be limited to participants, Bus parking its a case of drop and park 500m further on, look for signs.

Showers
There are no shower facilities at the venue but from 5.30pm at the Lakeside sports centre Station Rd on the Kilmaine Rd Ballinrobe there will be showers and changing facilities.

What clothes to wear?
Ideally wear tight fitting clothing like body armor or lycra. (don’t wear too much woolly or cotton clothing gets very heavy when wet or sweaty) Recommended: Full legging, inner vest, body armour top, maybe a light jacket, shoes (tie tight)and sports socks and gloves.

 COMPETITION
We are looking for the best RACE FACE photo we have a team of photographers who will be looking for the best Racefaces ( team and individual), this can be anywhere on the Run Forest Run course, watch out for the photographers en route, so make your FACE count..

 Fancy Dress
We are hoping all participants will dress up for the occasion so let’s see what team or participant  will have the best Fancy dress costumes…

After you have completed the event:
We will have a women’s and men’s marquees where you can change your clothing, bring towel, plastic bag for (wet dirty clothing) then come out and cheer on the rest of the participants.

Food
At the event venue there will be a mobile stand selling soup, Tea/ coffee and a selection of goodies.

Restaurants
There are plenty of good restaurants available in the town book ahead in case they are full.

After party
What better way to celebrate completing the Run Forest Run challenge than letting your hair down and having a few bevies, from 9pm at Inch’s bar Main St Ballinrobe, we will have video and photo footage of your activities out on the course, should be a good laugh.
