Wild Mayo Ultra is delighted to be teaming up with our friends at Mondello24hr and the Donegal Ultra 555/333 to create the ultimate annual endurance challenge – Ireland’s Ultra Cycling Trilogy.
That’s three races in three different counties offering three different cycling experiences. Kicking off with the scenic Wild Mayo Ultra on May 12 and 13th.
Riders will then have plenty of time to recover ahead of a very different 24-hour experience that is Mondello24 on June 24. After recovering from riding around Ireland’s only international motor racing circuit.
The trilogy will then take you to the hills of Donegal with the legendary Donegal Ultra 333/ 555 on August 11.
Any rider/team completing the Trilogy will be presented with a mounted certificate as recognition of their achievement from the three race organisers. This certificate will not only look well on the wall of your pain cave or office but is also sure to start many a great conversation about your efforts in the saddle.
By creating Ireland’s Ultra Cycling Trilogy, the race organisers hope this collaboration will help raise the profile of ultra cycling in Ireland and hopefully inspire more to come and push themselves to discover new limits.
